I have a 130 watt Kyocera panel I'd like to install on my 3010 travel trailer. Where is the best place to run wire down from the roof? Is the front cap hollow or is there a pre made place to run wire? Need to run 10 gauge down.
the most common place is to run the wire down through the refrigerator vent. no drilling holes through the roof, and with just a little work you can access all the way to the bottom of the cabinets inside.
You can also run the wire down a plumbing vent. Just pop a hole in the ABS somewhere above the water drain line, fish the wire though and seal it up with silicone. The vents are pretty easy to find in a closet or behind the drawer bank.
I have heard some put rear view camera's on their Rigs. They snake the wires down thru the plastic rear cap. I doubt the plastic rear cap will know 10 AWG from 59RG cable... Just a thought. ta
