Outside Shower Problem

Very low water pressure, both hot and cold. Condition exists even with the shower handle / head removed.
Just a dribble of water.

Another RV person said ; 'you may have a valve under your vanity'. The vanity and outside shower are in close proximity to each other.
3 pics under the vanity:
a) the water coming into the vanity.
b) a picture of what appears to be a valve.
c) better angle of the valve---I did not try to open it---It appears fragile (if this is a valve)
Any & all ideas welcome.
Thanks, John

The item in picture 3 is the atmospheric vacuum breaker which is in-line with the black-tank flusher. Don't mess with that.

I suggest you remove the shower head and run the water to see if there's any debris in the line. Then flush water backwards through the head to to clear any debris from it too.

Out of couriousity what does the atmospheric vacuum breaker do?

Essentially, it's a check valve that is used to guard against contamination of the water supply from the black tank.

I actually had this in for warranty work----FIXED---but it still did the same dribble when I got TT back.

Still stuck in neutral with the dribble.

Have you opened the panel to the back of the outside shower. I found ours with several kinks in it impeding the flow of water.

Look for a kniked hose behind the outside shower panel.

John - sorry to say it, but it sounds like with your servicer, you'll want to check all items to make sure they're resolved to your satisfaction before taking it back home next time - if there is a next time with that servicer.

Re: Outside shower-low water pressure

Remove the panel to the right of the vanity (its floor level probably about 10" wide by 24-30 " tall) 4 square headed screws (one in each corner). Once you get it removed you will see where your power cord is stored and the back of your outside shower. It might have gotten tangeled and or kinked by the power cord (power cord is actually in it's own box above the area but does exit down and across to the power converter, it is possible to have too much slack in that area). It should be easy to figure out once you poke your head in there. Good luck and let us know what you find.

I'm glad you found the problem and the shower is working. Now that all this water is running I have to go to the bathroom.

Re: Outside shower-low water pressure

I just found that my outside shower hose wasn't even hooked up. When I pulled it out the whole hose came out. Was easier to fix it myself than to take it back to the dealer to fix. :(
