Got the KL in the backyard plugged into 50 amp service....tried extending slides today and nothing happened.....made no noises of anykind...everything else works fine.....is it a fuse....to get to the fuse box the kitchen slide needs to be extended manually....how do you do that.....also its still under warranty maybe just take it there......thanks for any suggestions....

Hi bobsue2,

The hydraulic slides are operated by a hydraulic motor that gets power from the battery, through a 50 amp automotive style 12V circuit breaker located near the battery. One possible cause is the battery running down. This can happen even while plugged into shore power. Here's a link to our 12V block diagram and troubleshooting guide. If you check the circuit breakers on the buss bar, you'll find one that has a manual reset (as pictured in the guide). If that breaker tripped, the battery will run down. The guide also has a diagnostic flow chart that may help out.

If push comes to shove, you can operate the slides manually by using an electric drill with a 1/4" hex drive bit. The end of the pump motor has a label that covers the drive fitting. Provided, of course, that you can access the hydraulic pump area.
