SOLVED: What's this switch for in the front gen bay?

I have the big horn3870fb I was messing around in the front generator compartment. looking at it on the right side there is a on and off switch there. very close to the door just wondering what it is used for. thank roy

It sounds like it is the switch for the light in the compartment. Look up.
There might also be a switch on the light fixture itself.

Join the club, I had my Big Horn 3010RE several months before I realized there was a light in the generator compartment.

This is our first question to this site so please excuse any mistakes I might make.We have a 2016 Torque 321 and inside the generator compartment way up on the left side is a light which has its switch on the light itself. But outside,right beside the landing gear switch on the right side is another switch that apparently does nothing.It doesnt appear to do anything to the light that is inside the compartment.. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Don and Sharon.
