Does anyone recognize this part? It is some type of dispenser, but I did not find it in the instruction book. How is it used, and what is it used for? Thanks for your help.

Our unit is in the storage shed and will check tomorrow but believe this is for liquid softener.

What model do you have?

That may be the bleach dispenser, not the fabric softener. Check page 15 of the manual for the combo W/D.
