I have an 08 3400RL. After the Branson rally I was crawling around and checking things out when I noticed that the springs on the rear axle were flat and the tires had been rubbing on the sheet metal (now bent) over the tires.
I took pictures, went to the dealer with all my information. Including the weight report from WEIGH-IT portable rv scales. Seems to me that with all the options we got it should have come with 7000# axles. I have 11,550# axle weight. No water, all tanks empty, one lp tank full and not a whole lot of personal stuff. 1200# would be pushing it. I could never dry camp and carry water (605.9#). Anyway, I got off the subject of my original question. But thats good. It has been a few weeks since first reported and Thursday dealer says Heartland forwarded the info to Lipert. So the real question is how long will my trailer have to sit before someone makes a decision on a repair. Based on my weight numbers 7000# springs should be replacing the 6000#ers.
Thanks in advance for any and all replys.
Peace
Dave
