Staying around Gatlinburg, TN

Are there any recommendations for campgrounds around Pigion Forge or Galinburg, TN?

The South East Region rally was held at the River Plantation RV Park last month. We have stayed there in the past and found it very nice.

Here is a guide to camping in Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg is a little harder to find big rig campgrounds but here's a guide. When in PF, we stay at River Plantation but our preference is Townsend, TN at Big Meadows Family Campground.

A lot of people like Bear Cove it is close to the activities in PF but not on main strip. We like Riversedge it is on main strip at last stoplight before going to GB. Even though it is on main strip it is pretty quiet. A lot of options in the area depending on what you are looking for. And as Jay stated RiverPlantation is really nice also.

We stayed a month at Anchor Down which is east of there on Douglas Lake. Really nice place all concrete pads.....great views.

I agree with Bryrd and Big Meadows Family Campground. You might take a look at Two Rivers Landing. You will not find a better maintained and easy to access park. When in the area we either use Big Meadows or Two Rivers Landing.

Lot's of nice places around. Enough already mentioned that are my favorites. Make sure you get into the park and visit while you are here. If you have any questions about it let me know.
