Street side awning

Has anyone put a street side awning on their bighorn? Did it help with keeping the coach cool and did it help the fridge regulate better? Thanks Jimmy

Perhaps you can put up a small canopy that covers your refrigerator and see if the shade helps. This might be a low budget way to test if keeping the frig area of the trailer in some shade will help regulate better.

We had a street side awning on our old camper, but it covered the windows not the fridge.

And yes, it made a huge difference in temperature, but it also made the inside darker.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't found a canopy tall enough to try that, but I did relevel the coach and reset the defrost timer so we'll see if that helps. Also put reflected in the west side windows. That helped a lot. But we do miss the views.

Thanks for the flow chart. We releveled the coach and reset defrost cycle. Waiting a few days to see if that helps.
