Swapped out my 12v DCM For Trojan 6v

Prepping for future solar but in the meantime, we had a hurricane in Florida and as you know the fridge in the RW427 is not a propane/electric unit. Only runs in the battery via an inverter. So, this mod will let the fridge run quite a bit longer between the generator use when we have no power. I took out the 2 stock no name brand group 27 deep cycle marine batteries and replaced them with 2 Trojan T-605s in series. 3 times the usable amp hours now. I wanted the T-105a but they are not carried locally and the T-605s available at the local golf cart stores. 210 vs 225 amp hour rating is not too shabby but beats that 85 amp hour rating of the old ones.

Love Trojan batteries!! Been using them for about 12 years now on 3 different RV's.

...only 45 Amp hours on your last batteries? Did you have like 8 "D" batteries to get that?
