I just purchased a 2014 Heartland Cyclone 4100. There is a residential type light switch located under the intererior control panel. It lights up when on . What does the switch do? I have turned it on and off and can not figure it out. Any help would be great.
Hello v-pilot and welcome to the forum.
If that switch lights up red then it is for the AC side of your water heater.
Do not turn that switch on without having a full water heater. You run the risk of burning out the heating element.
In the 2014 4100, there is a rocker on/off with an LED for the water heater. If it is a residential electric switch, it is probably for the Yeti pkg if you have that option. I hope this helps.
I'm with DocFather. My AC and Gas water heater switches are side-by-side rockers that light up. I betting on Yeti since I don't have it and I don't have that switch you described.
