Thanks to the Utah Chapter!

In May, my wife and I happened to be touring the National Parks of Southern Utah. By pure chance we were staying at the same park in Moab as the Utah Chapter rally was being held. Beautiful area, BTW.

We were there in a 32ft Thor Class C, and during our travels were beginning to think about buying a 5th wheel trailer but were very unfamiliar with what was available.

We woke up one morning to see the park fill with many absolutely gorgeous Heartland 5th wheels. It was like we were staying in the middle of an RV show!

As I walked around meeting the owners and asking questions, I was pleasantly greeted and even offered tours of their homes on wheels. Everyone was very gracious to me. And let's face it.... I was an outsider.

Secondly, everyone raved about the customer support Heartlland shows its customers.

Well, as result we have purchased a 2015 Heartland Big Country 3650RL. A good part of the credit for the purchase should go to the Utah members and the hospitality they showed to us.

Hopefully, we can schedule attending another Utah rally, and this time we will have our own Heartland.

Thanks to everyone who showed us such kindness and frioendliness in Moab. I promise I will do the same whenever anyone approaches me.

I am in Northern California where apparently there is no active chapter, so if it's ok, I am going to consider Utah my second home in the meantime!

Welcome and congrats on your new Big Country. If you check out the Events tab at the top of this page just scroll down and you will see there is a Utah rally scheduled in Sept and I'm sure there is still room. Think I remember seeing you. We were in the only Heartland Silverado. Also there is a So Cal rally at the end of Oct down in Temecula and plenty of sites still open.

There is a Sparks, Nevada rally on 9/11 and a Jackson, Ca. rally on 9/17. Jackson may be full, check the contact on the portal page link to get on a cancellations waiting list. As a member of the Heartland Owners Group, you are entitled to attend any Heartland Owners rally.

I, too, hope we can get the Northern California Chapter new leaders to put on the 1 rally a year each chapter has. If John will accept a single leader, I will put my hand up.

Welcome from Oregon! I happen to have been born in Oroville and know the area fairly well. We go through on our way to visit our kids in Loomis a couple of times a year.

You are right that there is no active chapter in NoCal right now. There are some owners in Chico though and a few others in that area as well. You are always welcome in Oregon and you can go to any chapter rally you would like no matter what your home chapter is. We have the WA rally coming up July 17 and the Oregon rally the weekend following that with a big caravan between them. I'm not sure of the status of the WA rally for spaces, but I know Oregon still has a spot if you can jump on it quickly. The park will not hold our block of sites much longer.
