Why does every thread I open seem like its missing the beginning of the story,

In the settings tab at top of page you may have display mode set to "display newest first", try setting to "display oldest first".

I don't read that as what they mean...

I read it to be when they open a thread that doesn't show the OP's post #1 each time....they are only seeing the most recent posts since last opening?

Thank you that video helped. I belong to a lot of forums, this is the first that displayed the newest post first.

Just a follow-up...so then every thread you opened had the beginning of the story at the bottom instead of at the top correct?
