Tire question

I have a 2014 cyclone with original tires, they have low miles on them but the pass side are starting to get a over inflated look but psi is good . Drivers side tires look to be more flat . Should I go ahead and replace them. Are the factory tires junk and not worth taking a chance on ? They are a off brand tow max power King

Hi Cds3100,

What you're seeing is probably due to internal damage. Many people have reported similar appearance immediately before a blowout. You should replace the tires before towing anywhere.

Consider contacting the National Highway Safety Transportation Agency. They may want to examine the tire(s) to determine the cause of failure. If they determine it's due to a manufacturing defect, you could help many others who have those tires.

That's what one of my tires looked like just before it blew. Change them before your next trip.

There are literally hundreds of posts all over the internet about what poor quality tires they are. Replace them as soon as possible with some better quality tires..Don

That's what I was thinking that can't be good. Luckily we aren't going on a trip until the end of May. Just did a little looking online , and it looks like maxis has a good trailer tire. My GVWR is 15,000 lbs so I want something for that weight, and I live in the desert so I don't want to take chances with a cheap tire. It kills me my trailer was ****$ brand new and that's what heartland puts on. They should at least do something better IMO

Check the inside of your rims to see if they're rated for 110psi / 3750 lbs. If so, consider Sailun S637 tires.
