I would like to replace my plastic toilet seat with a standard toilet seat from Lowe's or Home Depot. Will a home toilet seat fit my Thetford?

I'm sure HD/Lowes have a LOT of them to pick from. I'd take yours off and bring it with you...then you can see right away if it will fit.

We have the Dometic 320 elongated toilet and we replaced the seat with Church brand that closes real slow by itself.

That's what we did, now I need to change the one in the house. I keep forgetting and let the lid slam down. Scares the you know what out of you if you do it a night.
