Trailer Covers

Deciding if I should cover my trailer or not. Live in MD so we can get some heavy snow at times, but it's not likely. And what cover would you recommend?

Snow won't hurt anything. Once it snows it covers the roof and protects it from UV damage. A thin piece of fabric between your roof and the snow won't do anything. In my storage lot I've seen lots of trailers with loose, poorly tied down covers flapping in the wind. At some point they will rub a hole in the corner of the roof. No covers for me. My last park trailer sat on the same site uncovered for 10 years. Snow was never a factor....Don

In the past I always covered my rigs. On the last one after having it covered for about 3 months my dealer knew that I had it covered. No matter how tight you get that cover tied down, the wind will always get that cover "flapping in the breeze". Don't do it.

Do a search of this site and you will find several (recent) threads on covers. Basically don't bother.
