Two Septic Tanks? 2013 Heartland Cyclone 4100 King

So we purchased this rv used and are wondering about the septic system (s).
Brochure states it has an eighty two gallon black water tank but doesn’t mention the separate draining line for the 2nd 1/2 bath located in the rear toy hauler. For getting quotes to drain I’m asked for the total gallons and I’m not sure if it’s 82 total or 41 gallons per tank. Also, does anyone know if the two tanks can be connected in order to extend clean out times since we rarely use the 2nd bathroom. Now the primary tank is full while the 2nd is empty. Any thoughts?

On our 2018 Road Warrior we have 2 40-gal. black tanks and 2 40-gal. grey tanks. The rear black and grey drain is located behind the left rear wheel. The drain for the front tanks is located in front of the left front tire.
For getting quotes to drain? Where are you parked that you need to have somebody empty the tanks?
You can possibly connect the 2 black tanks together. Some individuals connect the front black & grey together since these are closer together.

you are correct in the dual tank set up. Have the same in our toy hauler, haven't found the capacity for each tank anywhere. Heartland might tell you with the vin # of your unit. Other option is to drop chloroplast & measure the tank dimensions. We have same problem, haven't seen where anyone has connected the two tanks

Thank you for your info! More then likely ours is also a40/40 split. Although the valves are located differently. Both grey valves are in the front next to the main bath black valve. We might look into connecting one of them to the black water tank.
In response to your question about where we are…lol We are in the woods on a friends 20 acres while we look for land. Not really wanting to invest $7000 on a septic system since this isn’t permanent. Thanks again for responding!!

Thanks for responding! I’m thinking what am awful design flaw! Lolol Even in a park environment one has only the single septic line to connect too…

If you are temporary in the woods on 20 acres here is a thought.
I have, um, a friend that on occasion has friends mooch camp in my, um, his driveway.
A macerator pump and a hundred fifty feet of garden hose into the woods works really well to empty the tanks.
Macerators.
