I should be picking up a new to me 2011 3450TS this week. It will be mansion compared to my old 33' two-slide Montana Mountaineer.
The washer and dryer is the best part of the deal...

Congrats and welcome to the Heartland family.

I see you're from Colorado. We have an active Heartland Owners Club chapter there. Consider joining the Heartland Owners Club and joining in on the fun.

A bunch of them are heading to Gillette, Wyoming this week for our North American Rally. Got the weekend free? We have openings :)

Welcome! I also updgraded from a Montana mountaineer into a HL with a similar floorplan as the 3450TS. A great move for me.....

Take care,

Congratulations on your new Big Country and welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed our 2 BCs. And as Jim said, check out the information about the Heartland Owners Club - best deal for your bucks.

Enjoy and travel safely.

I call Colorado home, but I travel A LOT for work. I won't be back for any rallies or fun; just work for me. Thanks all for the warm welcomes. I actually backed out of the 2011 3450 deal after I found out if was for sale by the second owner. That's too many owners and questions of a lemon unit during the short time period and turnover rate. I put a down payment on a new 2012 3450 today. The price between the two units wasn't TOO great and it's getting delivered to my jobsite in Washington. I think I made a good decision.

SJH,
From your profile picture it looks like we'll have similar set-ups. I too have a Silver Birch Duramax, but Crew Cab.

Congratulations on the new HL. But be warned, as you peruse these forums you will find some unfortunate owners that have had problems from the get-go. Don't let that put a damper on your excitement. And there are those of us who crawled into the belly of the beast and took care of minor problems before they became major ones. It's something you just have to do (as you must be aware of coming from a Montana). When you finally go to pick up your new rig, do a thorough PDI on it, regardless of whether or not the dealer says they already did. A good dealer should welcome you going over it with a fine tooth comb before you leave the lot. Any questions on the rig, this is the place to ask.

Hey...perhaps you can get away for a weekend and make our HOC Rally in Twisp! HERE are the details!
