wall panel

We have a 2010 Bighorn 3410RE we purchased in April. Right after we purchased we noticed some bubbles or ripples in the wall board in the hall going up to the bedroom. Heartland has sent new wall boards to the dealer for replacment (it has taken this long because the dealer we purchased went out of buisness and we also used the Rv for vacation). The dealer has informed us that to remove the wall board panels and replace them is very dificult. According to them they have to scrape all panels off and glue the new ones on which is very time consuming and very difficult. Supposedly the inner wall board is all rolled and laminated at the factory. For this reason it is so difficult to replace.

Has anyone gone through this process with their units? Will we make a bad situation worse? We have concerns and just want to make sure we do the right thing.

Thanks,

Ted

We have not had your issue with our trailer but I have seen the process at the Heartland Factory. Knowing a little about construction materials, I think it should be a pretty simple fix if done by a qualified person. As long as they get the surface smooth and prepped right, the hardest part will be making the trim look good. Just have comfort in knowing Heartland will make it right.
