Water flow at kitchen sink

Recently had an issue with next to no water at the kitchen sink. Initial action was to clean faucet screen. That got us going again. Probably just have never noticed but there is a distinct difference between bath and kitchen flow rates. Is that typical?

I have noticed that too. I think the kitchen faucet is pretty cheap. I have never been able to get the prayer/stream selector to work. More like a sprayer/dribble selector.

I noticed a difference between the bathroom and kitchen faucets with ours. I think it's due to the extra distance and plastic fittings to get to the kitchen. The plastic PEX fittings they use have openings of about 3/16", which only further restricts the flow. If you ever compare them to a brass PEX fitting, you'll see the difference immediately. Water doesn't like to make 90 deg. turns in a restricted fitting.

This photo just happens to be from a BC in production.
