Water intrusion concern

Hello - my name is revolvo because my real name (Dave) was already taken. We just bought a new 2011 MPG 185 with a slide. I was curious as to whether it should have come with a telescopic awning over the slide (one side attached to the trailer and the other end connected to the slide). Our previous RV, a Minnie Winnie was set up that way. The slide and cutout appear to have been designed to accommodate the awning. Is that an option? Other than a few personal upgrades - we like it! thanks to anyone who knows the answer. I do have a call into Heartland

Hello Redvolvo and welcome to the forum. Lots of good information here.
I moved your post to its own thread in the MPG general forum.
The slide awning is an option from the factory but can be installed by your dealer or if your handy, by yourself.
