Water volume problem

Earlier this month we had our newish 183 out for a long weekend and found that the water volume from the hot side of the kitchen faucet was very low. Volume from the cold side seems just fine - it increases or decreases as expected as the cold control position is changed. With the hot flow, it briefly comes out at whatever setting the hot control is positioned at, but then rapidly decreases even when turned to full force. It never shuts off completely, but the volume is small enough that it takes a loong time to fill a large pot for cooking.

Any ideas what the problem might be? This MPG is a 2011 model which we bought used. The original owner only had it for a few months before trading up and then it sat on the dealer's lot for close to a year, so the systems should be in fairly good condition.

Since the sink is in the slide, I would check the water hoses, especially the one that curves around the slide and check for a twisted hose.

You do have the bypass valve in the proper position, don't you? Find the hot water heater. There are three valves in there, one hot, one cold, and one bypass. The bypass valve should always be opposite the other two.

Next time we're at our storage lot we'll check both the valve positions and the hose on the slider. Appreciate both tips!
