WD hitch question.

Hello all i just got my new TT and have a question about the spring bars i am using. My TW is rated around 850lbs and i am using the WD hitch i had on my old trailer. The spring bars from my old trailer say 600 lbs and my new trailer is max 850 + - the dealer said they would be fine but i never take that for gospel. i am thinking on ordering 1200lb spring bars. Any thoughts on this. thanks..

The bars are rated for how much weight you want/need to transfer to the steer axle, not the tongue weight.

Then my bars should be ok then? when the TV and TT are connected it does sit level. But when traveling the TV and TT bounce alot I put on a pair of Bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear but haven't towed since i put them on. I guess i will keep an eye on everything and see how it goes. Thanks!
