Two police officers responding to a domestic disturbance with shots fired arrive on scene. After discovering the wife had shot her husband for walking across her freshly mopped floor, they call their sergeant on his cell phone.


"Hello Sarge."
“Yes."

"It looks like we have a homicide here. " ​

"What happened?" ​

"A woman has shot her husband for walking on the floor she had just mopped."​

“Have you placed her under arrest?"

"No sir.

Responded to a domestic shooting one time, middle age couple. The man had been shot twice (flesh wounds) by the woman after they got into it over something just about as silly. Investigator noted the number of empty shell casing on the floor (woman had emptied the clip), and remarked to the woman "you lucky it was only a flesh wound, you realize you could have killed him?" Woman replied "I was trying but he kept jumping around so much I couldn't hit him!"
