Hi,
I have for now removed my rear rack / tray on the back of my travel trailer. I had a couple reasons,
1. I wanted to increase tong weight
2. didn't yet have a neat spare tire cover.
so I moved the tire to under the bed and removed the rear rack. this gave me about 150+ more pounds of tong weight.
However, it may be my tires on the pickup were the big problem, so not to discuss that any more what do you use your rear rack for?
Please not to turn into a troll thread or anything as I can imagine the obvious like a little camp fire wood. maybe a bicycle. I was concerned adding anything substantial would lift the tong up too much.
anything else those are good for, as I was thinking of putting it back on.
