What Does This Switch Do???????

On our 2013 model 3260EL Inside the front compartment door, drivers side, about half way up is a rocker on/off switch. I hadn't noticed it before because you have to turn your head to the right to even see it. I've flipped the thing on and off and can't tell that it controls anything. Wires from it go up into the wiring harness. Anyone out there know what this mysterious switch is for?????

In my 2014 3010RE that switch operates a light mounted to the ceiling (if you're referring to the compartment where the generator would go).

Same on mine. Turn the light on manually at the light (hard to reach ), then the switch (easy to reach) turns it on and off.
