What is this for?

So we got this large black metal thing with the camper but We have no clue what is goes to. Can anyone tell me what this is for? We have the BBQ swing out arm on the back of the trailer.

It would help if we knew what model camper you have.
Could it be the mount for the grill body?

It could be for the BBQ grill just don’t know really. We have the are that swings out but this thing looks like it goes in a hitch.
