Hello, we just bought a 2021 Heartland Pioneer BH270 and are excited to hit the road. Since this is my first post, I cannot attach any photos yet, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows what this item is for that I found under the queen bed. It's a black steel 1" square tube about 4 ft long with an eyelet on one end. Any ideas? Thanks!

I’ll guess it’s probably a tool to operate your slide manually if need arises?? Or depending on where your spare is, to remove your spare.
Someone will tell you. Have fun with your new rig.

That is for the fold down rear tray. It clips in the middle to attach bikes or whatever.

I don’t have a picture of it installed on mine, but next time we haul the bikes with I’ll try to remember. Probably won’t this weekend though.

Thanks, that makes sense. I still don't see where it attaches to the tray. I'll keep looking.

Look by where the spare tire bolts on. That bar goes in basically behind the spare tire.
