What was the photo storage site..

I think it was on the Heartland Forum, but I saw a link to some photos to a place that you can store some photos.

I know about Photobucket, Shutterfly, & Kodak Gallery.

The one I am looking for showed you a number of photos and when you clicked on one it showed a larger view on te right. It said you could post unlmited photos for a small fee.

Does anyone have any idea of the one I am looking for?

There's smugmug.com which I think costs $35 or $40/year.

Bob, to me the issue about online photo storage (and also documents for that matter) is will the company be around for a long time? Will I have to retrieve my files in the future and put gigabytes of data somewhere else?

Smugmug has been around for quite a while and I've been a customer for many years. I've seen many of their early competitors go away or change the rules.

They've got nice integration with Facebook now, so you can upload to SmugMug and publish to Facebook in a few seconds - no redundant uploading.

I'm happy with SmugMug and plan to keep using them.

Btw, I apply the same thinking to data files and other info. I think Evernote will be one of the long term winners. Probably Dropbox as well, but I find Evernote has better function.
