Where is my water pump

Greetings,

I just purchased a 2014 Heartland Road Warrior 305 toy hauler, looking for the water pump and cannot find it in all the normal places. Is it behind a panel in the pass through compartment? If so do you know which panel or where it might be?
thank you in advance for your help.

You are funny, but a great suggestion. I cannot do that right now as my trailer is winterized I live in Idaho and it is already freezing. If I can't find it I will do as you suggest in the spring.

Kenny,
I have a 2017 Road Warrior 427. My water pump is behind a removable panel on the right side in the pass through directly behind the wet bay.

UDC (stands for universal docking center) is the bay where you make your water, cable, etc connections.

I removed the panel and there it was the water pump and the converter. I was told the unit was winterized, but obviously, the guy did not know how to do this properly, the filter on the pump was full of water as was the hot water heater. So today I am going to blow out the lines to be sure it was done properly as being in Idaho it gets very cold.

I am sure folks have good intentions but don't always know how to properly tackle jobs. It really surprises me as the knowledge base is available with a few stokes of the keyboard. I have bought and sold over 40 RVs and always go though each one to insure proper operation.

I would recommend that after you bow out your system you pump pink RV antifreeze through the system. That way you will have protection in your pump eliminating any chance of residual water freezing.
Don't forget the outside shower if equipped.
Don't forget to put antifreeze in the p-traps.
You might also want to blow some air through the black tank flusher.

Peace

Thank you for your suggestions, I have done just the air blowout and never had an issue. After I am done blowing air out I run the water pump to be sure it is empty and take off the water filter and empty it completely. I have tried the RV antifreeze in the water lines and it is all good too especially if you are unsure how to air blow out the system.
