Why is Inverter fan running?

UPDATE!! (WOW THAT WAS FAST)

tech Said he called xantrex and they said the following..

"When in standby mode the inverter does not produce ac at all unless there is an issue. The circuitry is however powered and monitoring the system. If the heat sensor reaches its threshold the fan will activate to keep the internal circuitry within operating specification. This is normal especially in high heat mounting locations or with poor ventilation. "

If you have a separate cutoff for the battery power to the inverter, you can turn it off. Of course you have to remember to turn it back on for travel. And if you have a power outage while the inverter is shut down, the refrigerator won't get any power.

Thanks Dan, but not that important to go through the on/off routine...just thinking about stuff .
