Will my current wheels work?

On our new to us, 2013 BC 3596, we were stuck with a set of 235 -80-16 Blowmax tires. I have been reading here, and elsewhere, getting good opinions on upgrading to a different tire. I have finally decided on a set of G614s. My current aluminum wheels are 16x6J and I like their looks. My question is will my current wheels handle the 614s OK, or am I going to have to buy different wheels, too, to handle the higher max inflation pressures? My TST, TPMS kit also came in today (courtesy of CW's big sale price) and looking forward to that piece of mind capability!

Still a newbie to the 5'er life, but learning! Thanks in advance!

The stock rims which came with my BC3650 are rated for 110psi. I am running the G614's. To be sure check the inside of your rims for rating.

If you can't find the PSI rating stamped on the wheel, here is the Treadit page for their aluminum wheels. Most of the 8 spoke wheels are 3750 lb. They don't show the psi rating on the site but you can email them and make sure they are rated for 110 psi.

Hi

Rim has to be able to take the 110 pressure, and you will need to upgrade to all steel valve stems. G614's, according to Goodyear require a 6 1/2 wide rim but that being said, we had them installed by our dealer on the 16x6 aluminum rims we have on our 3950 Cyclone last year, and we have had no problems to date, including 1500 miles to Florida and back in March. We do also have TST TPMS monitors as well, your going to love them too. We have a new trailer on order with the factory GY614 tires upgrade, it will be interesting to see if they come on different rims than stock.
Congrats on your new to you f'vr, and definitely go for the upgrade to your tires, pricey but the piece of mine is worth it. And cornering and not looking in your rear view wondering if your blow Maxs are going to roll right off the rim, also priceless.
The GoodYears are much more solid tire and we did notice a seemingly smoother riding trailer after we upgraded. We'd would be doing it again in a heartbeat if the new one did not have them on it.

Take Care and Enjoy.

Your wheels should be rated at the 110#. Keep in mind that your wheels will only be 1/4" narrower on each side than a 6.5 wheel. I have had the G614's on our Horn for 4 years now and they work just fine.
