We just got back from a week in Winchester Bay, OR. On the way there we saw a Bighorn headed in the opposite direction (they were east bound) on the highway from Reedsport to I5. We exchanged waves, but I don't know who they are.
Once in the Winchester Bay RV Resort, a couple from Texas in a Big Country pulled into the space opposite us. We only talked for a minute and I didn't get their names, but they do visit the forum occasionally. On the day we left a Cyclone was in the park across the street from us. I didn't see it until we were pulling out though. They were probably there to ride ATVs in the Dunes which is the major attraction in the area besides the beautiful view of the Bay and the ocean. Our picture window looked out at the water! We had a great view and beautiful weather all week!!!
On our trip home, we saw another Cyclone being pulled by a semi and it had a sand rail tilted up behind the cab of the truck. They were headed north on I5 at about Winston when we saw them go by.
If you make it to the Oregon Coast, Winchester Bay is a great place to visit.
