www's for travel blogs?

We are searching for a 'free' website that will allow us to create a travel blog for our family when we travel. We want it to be password protected. We tried setting one up thru Good Sam's mytripjournal.com but it is only password protected if you pay $$.
Does anyone know of a good reputable website that will allow us to create a password protected travel blog.

WordPress is another blog site that is free and password protected. Not sure what the limits are on photo's tho, as I just use it to blog.
