Broken facing on closet shelf in bedroom

While traveling down I-95 in South Carolina the facing on the front of the shelf in the bedroom of our BC3250ts cracked. At the time we had our shorts and shirts on the clothes rod and I assume that the bouncing of the clothes on the horrible road caused it to crack. The shelf nor the clothes rod suffered any damage just the facing.....Is that covered under the warranty?

Mine was when it broke.

I do not know if is covered or not. Mine fell off on the first trip that I took. I was only held on by three or four cheezy staples. I put it back with screws and it works fine now.
