Additional Info:
------------------------------
Please do not ask for the RV Park when making reservations. Tell the reservation person you get that you are attending the Heartland Rally to get the special rate. I have negotiated the rate for 7/10 - 7/14 so people have an extra day on either side of the rally at that rate.

Reservations for the rally at this site fee must be made by June 27, 2014. After that, the sites revert back to the park and to the regular rate. Reservations will then be on a first come-first serve basis.

Clarification: If you plan to stay for the Jamboree, you will need to pay for those tickets when you make your rally reservations. That will keep you in the same site through both events.

4/4/2014 For those who have already made rally reservations - you need to call NOW (by the middle of April) to pay for your Jamboree tickets to keep your site and guarantee tickets for the Jamboree will be available.

Oregon Jamboree: (not an HL event)

The Oregon RV Jamboree will be taking place after our rally. It is a separate event with its own fees. You should be able to stay in the same site through that event if you sign up for the rally and Jamboree at the same time before the park fills up. It will fill up, so don't wait too long. If you get someone who doesn't know about our rally and the arrangement we have to keep our sites through the Jamboree, ask to speak to another reservation specialist. They have a couple of new people on the desk.

Call the Reservation Number to let them know if you plan to stay for the Jamboree and pay for your tickets.

Here is the 2014 Oregon RV Jamboree Brochure as supplied by the Mill Casino and RV Park. It is a tri-fold front and back brochure if that helps make sense out of it. There is some basic info on the Mill website as well.

Rally Activities (so far)

Rally Sweatshirts (order to be placed in May)
Found out that hooded sweatshirts will be $30 each ($33 for 2XL and $34 for 3XL) to cover my cost plus shipping from Martin Marketing. They are the people who do all of Heartland's signature apparel. We will be going with blue for the color and men's sizes. I have to take orders and pre-payment from people before I place my order with Brad at Martin Marketing.

Please email me at kristy @ crownz4.com (remove the spaces before and after the @) with your order including sizes. I will return your email and include my mailing address so you can send me a check to cover your order.

Boat Tour of Coos Bay 1 PM (arrive at 12:30 for check-in) We will have a shuttle for 24 leaving the park at NOON. If we have more than 24 people we will arrange carpooling.
Its about 2 hours long, leaves from Charleston (30 min from the park) and will be $30 per person. We need to have at least 20 people to reserve the boat.

Post, PM or email me with your wish to participate in the boat tour.

Potluck(s)

We will do an appetizer potluck Friday night.
Porter's RV in Coos Bay will be sponsoring the meats for Saturday's potluck dinner. We have arranged for The Mill to cater smoked tri tip and smoked roasted chicken. The other dishes are potluck.
People were so happy with our breakfast burrito farewell last year, we are going to try to do it again this year.

New!!!

After finding that we will not be needing main course dishes for the potluck, I think we can split up the sides and desserts to make sure we are covered for both. Please plan your dish to serve at least 8-10 people.

So -
If your last name is A through L please bring a salad or vegetable dish to share.
If your last name is from M through Z please bring a dessert.

Raffle
Please bring a $15-$20 prize to donate in the traditional rally raffle. We will do this Sat. Night after dinner. Tickets will be sold Sat. For $1 each or 6 for $5 from Mark.

FINALLY! The contract is ready and submitted so we can get going on this.

Mark and I will be arriving the 9th and leaving after the Oregon RV Jamboree that will be the next weekend. We went to the Jamboree last summer as a way to check out the park and its event staff. We had a fantastic time and the fee for that event was well worth it. That's why we decided to back up our rally to that one. We have been promised that people who attend both events will not have to move sites. Most of the park is held for the Jamboree as soon as our rally is over and I didn't want people to have to pack up and move if they were going to stay for the Jamboree anyway.

DO NOT ask for the RV park to make your reservations. We need to go through the regular reservation dept instead of the RV park. Be sure to ask for the Heartland Rally.

We have taken into account the results of the poll I sent out earlier and are planning some things people were interested in doing while at the rally or in the days following while we are waiting for the Jamboree to start. We will announce all that stuff a little later.

We are also joining forces with Washington and planning a caravan from our rally and the Jamboree to the Washington rally via Maryhill State Park. That park is just over the WA border where Hwy 97 crosses the Columbia. Be sure to make your WA rally reservations! Rod and I will keep you up to date on all of that. We do know that the caravan will be arriving at the WA rally site on the Wed. (7/23) before that rally starts.

We have had some fun rallies at Winchester Bay, but this is going to be fun too. It will just be a different kind of fun!

I know Kristy's notice said to wait a couple days, but when I called for info today, they booked us and took our reservation request. We are coming in for the Heartland Rally on the 10th and staying through the 20th for the Oregon Jamboree. From there we are heading north to Maryhill State Park for a couple days (20th - 23rd) en route to the Washington Rally in Deer Park (Spokane). Hopefully we can get a few of us together for this roadtrip and have a Heartland Caravan! We are so excited for this!

Glad they are set up and ready to take reservations. Now I have to find some time to make ours! I have conferences until late this week so I haven't called yet. I also want to see what day the Jamboree ends. I don't want to miss out on the big prize drawings they have the last morning.

Hey Rod, which space are you in? Is there a certain block of spaces set aside for us? We think this will be a great venue for the 2014 Oregon Rally.

They don't assign spaces. You just let them know that you're with the Heartland owners club and if you're staying for the Jamboree you let him know that you're staying for that as well.

We think it's a great venue too. Going to be a blast!

Our block of spaces is on the end with the number 25. That will be our space and they are holding that corner space for us too. That will be our party space where we can put your fire pit even though they don't usually allow fires outside their's up by the yurt. The yurt is ours through the weekend and they will set up tables outside of it too. The grill is also ours for the weekend if we want it.

They are trying to get enough tables to put in all of our sites. The sites are not all that big though so we might only want them in the party site. I'm trying to get them to make a private temporary dog area at our end of the park too. We will see how that goes.

Guaranty RV will be starting to bring in their RVs while we are there since they are part of the Jamboree. I will be asking to talk to them once their contract is signed with the Mill.

PJ and Karol, hurry up and order that new coach so you can come out to play!

PS I'm going to be offline for a couple of days. Please post and/or email when you make your reservations. I will catch up when I get back.

I should know more about Jamboree dates by the end of the week. They think they are going to end it on the 20th but they don't know yet if it will end in the morning or the evening. We don't want to leave before all the good prizes are given! So, we will be leaving either the 20th or the 21st for Maryhill and on from there to the Spokane area.

I'll keep you posted as I get more info.

Made reservations today for the rally and we are scheduled to arrive Thursday July 10 and depart Monday July 21. There was a little problem extending our stay after the rally since details for the Jamboree have not been finalized. However, after a short time on hold I was informed they were able to confirm my stay for the whole time I requested and would contact us when details for the Jamboree were available so I could .pay fees associated with the Jamboree at that time.
We are looking forward to the Rally and Jamboree in July.

Glad they took care of that for you. We will also be leaving the 21st to head to Maryhill State Park in WA for a couple of nights before heading from there to the WA rally.

If anyone plans caravan with us to stay at Maryhill the 21st and 22nd, they should make reservations ASAP. There are not a lot of sites left when I made ours yesterday afternoon. We will be in site #2 up there.

Our site in Coos Bay will be #25. We have ours assigned already, but everyone else will get theirs assigned upon check-in, so don't be surprised by that. Site #26 is our rally meeting site. It is as protected from the wind as any site on that part of the coast can be. lol

Go ahead and make your reservations for this rally now. We will get the rest of the Jamboree info in awhile, but that need not slow you down for making our rally reservations.

That really is a Dodge instead of a GMC and there is a long story behind it you will have to hear from Mark. We're glad you can make it and by all means consider staying for the Jamboree and heading up to WA with the group. One rally is good, but three is even better!

While you are at it, add the Jamboree and the Washington rally to the list. We would love to have a huge caravan between the events.

Please check the list at the top and let me know if I'm missing anyone, have incomplete info., or I'm just plain wrong.

Quick update.....

The price for the Jamboree is $115 per person. They are finalizing the rest of the paperwork which is supposed to be done by the 31st, if it gets done on time (something the event planner has no control over) we will be the first to get the final info.

Rememer that the price covers some meals, tours, contests and prizes. It was well worth it for us last year and we are really looking forward to doing it again this year.

Please get your reservations for our rally in as soon as you can. We already have 11 signed up, but I know there are more interested. We can't wait for our camping season to get started and to see everyone again.

I just updated the attendance list in the first post. We are up to 14 which is almost half of the sites set aside for this event. If you plan to attend don't wait too long to make your reservations.

Just as a question...

How many people would be interested in purchasing a zip up hoody or long sleeve t-shirt as a souvenir for this rally. I did these for my first two rallies and lots of people really liked them. I haven't done them in a few years now and we are at a different site for the rally. Is there any interest in my doing this? If so, jacket or t-shirt?

The photo below is from our first rally in 2009 and shows the sweatshirt jacket. The only photo I have that shows our state logo also has the top of someone's bald head as the major part of the picture. I won't post that out of respect for whoever that is. :D:D

Good. What a mess to do. Let's try to show what the logo for this year would look like.

Jackets from this year would not necessarily be green. We did have navy t-shirts the year after this so might stay away from that color too. I promise I won't go neon colors this year if we decide there is enough interest to do it.

The weather stayed north of us so you got our snow. Just be sure to send that water south to us this summer when we need it. We will just loan it to you for now.

Anyone else interested in hoodies? Sounds like we have a few takers, but the more the merrier. Last time, the people who didn't order them really wished they had. I've been hearing about it for three years from them. Now we'll see if they show up to this rally.

I have put the brochure for the Jamboree in the first post of this thread. You can call and make your arrangements now so you can keep you site for the whole time and not have to move. I know several couples have said they plan to stay, but others can choose to join us even if they haven't indicated they want to yet. Just call the same number you called to make RV park reservations for the rally to make Jamboree reservations. Please don't call the actual RV park. They don't have all of the info for us.

Again, the Jamboree has nothing to do with the Oregon Rally. Whether or not you wish to stay for the Jamboree has no affect at all on your attendance with us, so don't feel pressured to stay if you can't or don't want to do so. The Jamboree is just an option for those of us with a weekend to spare between the Oregon and Washington rallies. It looks to be shaping up to be a fun activity for those who decide to stay.

So, now that all of the rally info is out other than the actual event schedule (still being determined) and the info for the Jamboree is out for those interested...

Who else want to join us on the Oregon Coast July 11-13, 2014?

Update Update Update!!!

I will return your return your email and include my mailing address so you can send me a check to cover your order.

Exciting News!!!

We have a dealer sponsor for our rally! Porter's RV in Coos Bay will be providing part of our dinner one night. Porters is a very small family owned dealer that has been around for a long time. The owner will come talk to the group at dinner and will be providing quick turn around service at his dealership with a special rate discount for those who make appointments. I don't know the discount yet, but he wants everyone to know that he will honor it for the days right before our rally and the days after it between the rally and the Jamboree. I will tell you more when I know more. He is still figuring out the details but he wants you to know now so you can see if there is anything you are going to have done that they can maybe do during that time frame.

The only thing they ask in return is that we go as a group to the dealership (time to be determined) where he can talk about what they have to offer and give us a little tour. It is much easier for us to travel the five miles or so to the dealership in a shuttle bus than it would be for them to move trailers to the casino for us to walk through. It sounds like a fair trade to me. Porters carries Big Horn and Silverado. They have a small parts and accessories section as well.

Mike Moreland is the Regional Rep for Big Horn in our area. He set up this sponsorship for us. I invited him to the rally so we'll see where his schedule takes him during that time. It sounding like he could maybe fit it in his schedule.

I also think you might be able to find a golf course or two, including the Bandon Dunes.

BTW We are up to 7 sweatshirts ordered already! Thanks everyone. We're not really making a profit on these this time, but it's worth it for everyone who wants one to have a rally jacket in their trailer. That's where our old ones stay all the time. Two sets of SOB owners from the first time around became HL owners soon after attending our rallies and fortunately they had bought the jackets and tee shirts already!

Just for your information, the service manager at Porter's RV gave me some very valuable information to help us with some issues in our brand new 2111 Bighorn that we purchased in California on our first trip to Oregon back in 2010. Glad to know he is still carrying Heartland products. He was very pleasant and helpful with no expectation of payment.

We'll send you our order for the sweatshirts by email.

I just updated the top of the thread with other details about the rally. I know its only March, but I'm anxious to get going!

We still have sites to fill so you can recruit people to come with you. Do you know an HL owner who hasn't been to a rally? Invite them along. Do you have friends with RV's who would fit into the HL family? We will gladly welcome them even if they are an SOB, (they are for now anyway). We've had a few rigs purchased after attending our rallies.

If you are thinking about coming to the rally but haven't called in to make your reservations, don't wait too long.

Activities for during the rally...

I need to let them know soon how many people will want to do this. Please post or email me ASAP with your answer.

The number 1 most requested rally activity was a boat tour of Coos Bay. I have gotten the information so...

;)The tour is about 2 hrs long. We need a minimum of 20 people to reserve our spot and weekend spots book up FAST. Cost is about $30 per person. The first 24 people can get on the shuttle the casino will provide since the boat leaves from Charleston about 20 min from the campground. If we have more people, that is fine, but they would drive themselves.

So... Do we have at least 20 people who want to take this tour? Vote yea or nay either here or by email so I can let our event planner know and she can make our reservation.

;)Golf was the second highest in the survey. Our welcome bags from the casino will have several goodies, but there will be special green fees for a couple of the courses. You will call and make your own tee time reservations and provide your own transportation.

i don't know what else we might come up with that doesn't duplicate something offered during the Jamboree, but we are still checking a couple of things.

:cool:If you are thinking about coming to the rally but haven't made reservations yet, let me know you are considering joining us. We are not full yet, but July is closer than you think, especially if you plan to go to the Regional Rally over the 4th. You could leave Sparks, NV with a couple of others who are planning to do that and have your own caravan to Oregon for this rally and continue on to WA with us in another caravan. Doesn't that sound like fun!

Happy Spring!

Good question John. I have not purchased our tickets yet, but will do so before we get there. You might call the reservation folks and see if they will wait to charge you until you arrive but put you on the list as planning to go. The last time I talked to out event person she said they pretty much assumed that those who were in our rally and were staying for those dates were planning on the Jamboree. We just have to make sure they leave us in the rally block of sites rather than transfer us to the Jamboree block or the reservations will get really screwed up.

I will put you down for the tour and tell them to keep you on the ground. Lol

If you would like to order sweatshirts or sign up for the boat tour, both are still available. We are trying to get to the minimum of 20 to have a boat full. We have 12 people so far. We will hopefully make at least 20 in time to get a tour reserved that Saturday.

I just talked to Amber in reservations, here is the scoop:Clarification: If you plan to stay for the Jamboree, you will need to pay for those tickets when you make your rally reservations.

Here are the changes I just made to the top post. Check out what is going on and let me know if there is something you want like sweatshirts or the boat tour so I can add it to my records.

Boat Tour of Coos Bay
Trying to schedule for Saturday late morning or early afternoon.

Porter's RV in Coos Bay will be providing part of Saturday night's dinner. I will announce that when I find out. We will still be doing potluck for at least part of that meal.
People were so happy with our breakfast burrito farewell last year, we are going to try to do it again this year.

Details Details Details

Everything is subject to change but here goes....

Golfers - will have a block of time Friday before appetizers and Saturday morning before the boat trip. You will need to make your own Tee Time arrangements. Just get together and let me know what you decide. I bet some of you are out the day you arrive before the rally even starts!

Fishermen - I couldn't keep you away from the water even if I wanted to! Seek each other out and let me know what's going on when you figure it out.

I will have a volunteer signup sheet like I did last year so people can sign up for the duties they would like to help with. I know I can count on all of you for anything, which makes this so much more fun for us. We appreciate how people pitch in so we can have fun during the rally along with everyone else.

Friday Check-in and Refreshments - Let's wait until NOON to do this so packets and sweatshirts are ready for everyone. We will have ice chests with water, pop and beer at our site (#25-26) for as long as it lasts. Feel free to bring a chair and sit around in our site to visit with everyone as they register. This usually runs right into the next event....

Friday Appetizers - time to be determined
Just bring your favorite appetizer (enough for at least 6-10 people) to share with the group and whatever beverage you want to drink, if it isn't already in the ice chests. We will all get so full most of us won't go home to fix dinner!

Saturday AM - muffins for everyone in our site starting about 8:00 or so. Bring your coffee and a chair on down to visit with everyone. Please drop off your raffle prize donation at this time.

Saturday Tour of Porter's RV in Coos Bay - time to be determined. A shuttle for 24 will take us there. We may need to do some carpooling too.

Boat Tour of Coos Bay 1 PM (arrive at 12:30 for check-in) We will have a shuttle for 24 leaving the park at NOON. We have 27 people reserved so far, so we can set up transport to get everyone to Charleston when we get together Saturday morning.

Looks like we will be back just in time to get things ready for the potluck/raffle that night!

Saturday Dinner - will probably be at the yurt. Time to be determined - details still in the planning stages.

Raffle - Buy your tickets throughout the day. We will draw tickets after dinner - then let the trading begin!!!;)

Sunday AM - Breakfast burritos in the yurt. Time to be determined but early enough so those who are leaving can get an early start on the road. Take it to go if you need to.

That's all for now!

FYI and for anyone that is interested, I will be bouncing between the 2 Thousand Trails Preserves in Florence and Newport bi-weekly (due to high usage, 2 weeks is the most you can stay at these TT preserves in the high season) through August 20th, post the Oregon rally. God's natural air conditioning on the Oregon Coast should keep me away from California's hot summer heat.

Hi!
School is almost out and I am ready to go camping, so here is an update.

We just got our 24th rig signed up today. Welcome to Joe and Colleen Steiner from Grants Pass, OR.

I have ordered the sweatshirts and the rally badge hangers.

We have approval to set up our own private dog run next to our party site since the park's run is down at the other end of the park. So, if we have someone who has the temporary fence or x-pens to set up, we can do that. Our rig will be packed for a month long trip so we can't put in all of our pens due to weight. Just something to think about if anyone is interested.

Don't forget to set up your appointment with Porter's in Coos Bay to take advantage of the reduced rate for repairs around our rally dates. I don't know for sure what the deal is yet, but they promise quick turn around on the little repairs people might need. You do have to make your reservations ahead of time though.

As soon as school is out, I will be working out details for meals with Porter's since they are helping to sponsor us. More on that later.

We have 7 sites left for the rally and reservations have to be made by June 25th to get the special site rate and be guaranteed to be in our area for the rally. Be sure to check the reservations directions at the top of the thread to make sure it goes smoothly. After the 25th, reservations can still be made, but it will be at the usual rate and might not be at our end of the park.

If you plan to stay for the Jamboree as well, let the reservation specialist know when you make your reservations. They will want you to pay for that at that time, but it will also make sure you don't have to change sites between our rally and the Jamboree.

Also, don't forget to make your reservations for the WA rally too! Join the caravan through Oregon and Washington between the two rallies.

That's all for now. Give your friends a call to remind them to make reservations!

Hi--

We can bring an extra xpen. Are Porter's coming to the park for on-site minor repairs, or do we need to take the unit in?

Hi Pat,
You would need to take it in to Porter's. They talked about getting people in during the few days before the rally or between the rally and the Jamboree.

Anyone taking advantage of this offer will need to tell the service manager who will probably have to talk to the owner until everyone there knows what's going on.

I plan to call and talk to them as soon as school is out. I can't get away from the kids during these last few days.

thanks for the pen. If we have three or four pens to hook together, it would give people enough room to let their dogs off leash to wander for a few minutes.

Hello Everyone!

Here is an update on the rally now that we are just over a month away.

We just had our 25th coach sign up today. Welcome to the Wilsons (WeRWilsons) from Modesto, CA!

The Friday appetizer potluck is still on. It usually starts at about 5pm and goes until ???

i got the final plans for the potluck Saturday night. Porter's RV along with our Owners Club will be having the Mill cater the meat for dinner. We will be having smoked tri-tip and smoked roasted chicken.

That means we only need side dishes and desserts that night. Please bring enough to serve at least 8-10 with your dish. I'm pretty sure we will have close to 60 people that night.

Also on Saturday, we will do the traditional Raffle. Please bring an unwrapped prize valued at around $15-$20. It doesn't have to be RV related. We always have a good time with the raffle both during the giveaway and during the "horse trading" that goes on afterward.

We will plan on the breakfast burrito farewell breakfast at the Yurt at around 8 am.

When you check in to the rally Friday starting at noon, I will have a volunteer sign-up sheet so everyone can pitch in. I really appreciate the help and people seem to have fun with the "chores".

Thats it for now!

Oh, oh, one more thing..... The sweatshirts shipped today. I can hardly wait to see how they turned out. The rally hangers have arrived already. It's starting to look like rally time at our house!

I just added this to the top post and wanted to make sure everyone saw it.

Our rallies have gotten big enough now that I think I need to be a little more organized in setting up dinner.

We were a little lopsided on dishes last year and we ran out of salads, so doing it this way should help everyone with planning what to bring and make sure we have enough of all of the types of dishes for everyone.

Naturally, if you have some favorite dish you really want to bring, you may do so or you could bring it to the Friday night "appetizer" meet and greet party.

Thanks for understanding!

We are less than a month away! But there is still a few days to make reservations at the rally rate and be put in our area. It's not too late to register for the Jamboree and be able to stay in the same site for both events. June 25th is the deadline for those specials.

Saturday at morning we will have muffins in the party site to start off the day. Those taking the boat ride ($30 per person) will leave at noon. We will get back at around 3:30 so dinner will be at the Yurt at 6 pm.

You will get a full schedule when you check in starting Friday at noon and pick up your goody bag.

That's it for now.

Kristy

PS it's not too late the sign up for the WA rally and join the caravan!

Doris and I are heading down to North Bend on Thursday. We'll be going down I-5 and are wondering whether 126 to Florence or 38 to Reedsport is an easier towing route. Any opinions are welcome.

We are really looking forward to the next three weeks with two rallies, a jamboree and a major caravan.

Both are nice routes, I prefer 38, but that is my opinion. Either one is an easy pull. The bonus for going 38 is you go past the Sugar Shack Bakery in Reedsport, Kristy can agree to this, the rig always stops. safe travels, Diana

We go down 38 to Reedsport which is a beautiful drive along the Umpqua river and an easy drive.

We arrived today and used Hwy 38. I understand that there is a local country fair coming up that may make hwy. 126 a slower way to get here. I don't know the exact dates, but it might be worth checking into before using that route.

So far we have the Holes, Zumwalts, Sullivans, and Hardts here that we have spoken to. There is a Sundance and a North Trail in the park we haven't talked to yet. It will be interesting to see if they are part of our group or accidental attendees like we've had in the past.

Looking forward to everyone else getting here.

Everyone made it here safely and the meet and greet went well. We have 49 people this year and several of them have never been to a rally before. Now we have breakfast snacks and prize collection to do in the AM with our boat tour to follow. I've ordered 30 lbs of smoked tri-tip and chicken for dinner Sat. night as our main dish. Eating seems to be something everyone is really good at! Raffle after dinner (a couple of bigger prizes and some very limited edition etched Owner's Club glassware will be included) will set off a string of trading wars. Breakfast Sunday AM. Lots of talking, touring and story swapping all the time.

65 degrees and no wind Friday. Hopefully that continues Sat.

Kinda makes you wish you were here doesn't it? LOL

Kristy

PS Thanks Heartland, Porter's RV and The Mill Casino and RV Park for helping us put this rally together. We couldn't do it without your support.

Met some nice people yesterday.
Fran and I were going right by the Mill Casino on our way to Tillamook, OR. We decided to stop by and say "Hi" to some friends that we had not met yet.
We met Dave. Pat, Mark, Steve and Rod & Kelly. They seem like great people but most of all, they seem like "fun" people. Really looking forward to the Washington Rally. We couldn't make this rally because of prior commitments that we made with other people over 6 months ago.
I'm going to try and behave at the Washington Rally....these people really like their "pooches". GEEZE! You should see the size of these dogs. I really don't want to get on anyone's bad side.
See you guys soon.

Thanks guys. I get a lot of help putting the rally together and actually pulling it off on-site. Mark is a huge help with getting stuff where we need it to be and providing comic relief. I've had the same helpers at all of our rallies for years so stuff just gets done.

Many thanks to: the Earls, Rodmans, Holes, Warnesses, Ditrichs, and McGuires for always being where I need them to be and doing whatever I need them to do.

Many others have pitched in to setup and cleanup for meals, the raffle, etc. We appreciate what you have done.

What a great group this year! Thanks everyone!

PS Breakfast burritos in the morning before saying goodbye to those who have to leave. Lots of people are staying for another day or two though.

A Big Heartland Owners Club THANK YOU to Mark and Kristy for all the months of planning, and a weekend of lots of work, to make this Oregon rally such a success. I feel humbled that lowly Californians are allowed to attend. Also a big thanks to Mill Casino & Hotel for going above and beyond in so many ways to make our stay more pleasant. Thanks to Porter's RV in Coos Bay for their support of the rally.

I have to say that all of the meat and potluck items were excellent, and the spicy breakfast burritos were "the bomb"! We didn't need the hot coffee in the cool Oregon Coast RAIN and fog this morning.
