Slid out Q?

We noticed that the slide outs in the living room are sliding out far enought to give us a flat floor. Is this normal? This is a change from what it has been doing. There has been a bump in the floor before when the slide were out. Just wondering. We are rigging in and out more often now that we are on the road.

HI Bob,
Your slide should go out far enough that it appears to drop down just a little as it nears the wall and then it will give you an almost flat floor. Should be just the difference in height of the carpet where it overlaps. Maybe you have not been holding the button long enough. Need to hold the button just long enough to hear the pump just start to labor.

Enjoyed meeting you and Grace. Next time your in the area give us a call.

Safe travels

Last week we recently purchased a 3500RL Big Horn. We used it this weekend and it was great with a few small problems that surfaced. Our large slideout has the stove and fridge in it and it leans with the top not being seated against the wall. The bottom is sealed and appears to be where it is intended to be. The top has a gap of a half of an inch or so. How do you fix this problem?

cnjranch;

Unless you are comfortable with doing it, and have the necessary equipment to adjust the slide, I would recommend that you take it back to your dealer to have it adjusted.
