Tool purpose?

With our 08 3300BHS is a tool similar to a deep well socket but sloted on the end. What's its purpose? Thanks

If you will locate your spare tire carrier, I think you will find that is the crank handle to raise and lower your spare tire.

Could be the crank for spare tire carier, landing jacks, or rear stabilizer.

also on our 3200bhs we have the same tool I believe you are talking about under the entrance steps is a slot for the slide out to be operated manually, hope this helps

Thanks all. No where in the manual does it show/explain placement for the slide out manual crank.
Hopefully will not be needed on the maiden trip next week, but now armed and ready.
