We purchase our New 2018 Torque 396 back on March 6[SUP]th[/SUP]. We put our money down and was told there was a 6 week lead time by the RV dealer. I figured 6 weeks to build and another 2 weeks for PDI and freight out to the west coast. Well, it’s been 12 weeks now with no idea when I can expect delivery. For the majority of the time in between March 6[SUP]th[/SUP] and now (June 7[SUP]th[/SUP]) I haven’t heard a word from the dealer except “we will advise when it is ready”. I couldn’t get any information at all from the dealer so I went to Heartland. John Hawkins at Heartland was great, he explained the back log issue and kept me up to date on the progress of my 396. My 396 was finished sitting on the Heartland lot May 26[SUP]th[/SUP]. Today is June 7[SUP]th[/SUP] and it is still on the Heartland lot. My dealer is a short 2.5 hours away from the Heartland factory and still cannot tell me when I can expect delivery. My question is what in **** do you do with an RV dealer like this? My deposit is non-refundable and I’m actually ****** about the whole experience. No one from the dealer will respond by email, text or phone.
