Been a while since I posted. Is anyone here pulling their 5th wheel with a truck converter dolly? I am going to help out a buddy and drive his 10 wheeler dump part time at the Paradise fire clean up. It’s a little too far for me to drive back and forth (140 miles) so I am considering getting a converter dolly and pulling my 40’ Cyclone and parking it somewhere up near the job. Since it would only be for 2 or 3 days it wouldn’t be worth the effort to pull it up with my pickup, come home, drive the truck up there and do the process again when I come home. I can fabricate some locking bars to back it.
Anyone done this? Thoughts?
