Hi
Can someone help me out here. Looking to purchase 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD SRW with a standard box.
I have been told I'll need a sliding hitch. So therefore I am looking at the Pullrite superglide 18k on the chevy. Will this be ok, has anyone got one and is working well.
We have a Big Country 2950RK. Thankyou in advance Paul

The pullrite hitch is a nice unit and would do fine for what you need however the slider option is not necessary. Had it on my 2008 Silverado standard bed and never needed to use it...

I used that exact unit on my 2011 F250 Standard Box and it was hands down the best hitch I have ever owned, simply loved it. Upgraded to a 2012 F350 DRW for the new Cyclone and ended up getting the Ford factory installed hitch (Reese) so alas, no more Pullrite. I have one for sale for a good price OBO if you are interested (listed in the forum for sale section), PM me.

I would definitely recommend this hitch for anyone without a long bed. Took all the worry completely out of backing up or even taking sharp forwards turns all the way to 90 degrees. I had a manual slide Reese before and did not like it (having to get out and fool with it). Costs a little more but worth the peace of mind and effortless use.

Cheers!

Its a great hitch, I used one for years but now I have a long bed so I'll take it to the national rally and try to sell it.

Paul,

Many over here consider the "standard box" to be the 8' bed and the 6.5' bed to be the short box. With the 8' bed you do not need a slider. With the 6.5' - maybe.

i had a 6.5 GMC and used a Pullrite 18K Superglide and was glad to have it.
