Re: Landmark 365 - Placement of Water Heater and Furnace

We are with you Kathy. Amy and I have been "looking" but haven't found anything we would trade out of our 3670 for. We like the bath/bed room set up a lot. Just the other morning Amy suggested we design the "prefect" Landmark and they could name it the Cody.

Dave & Amy, we're with ya. Our ElkRidge is the same plan (essentially) as yours. Can't give up the desk! We're mid 40s and still working -- I work when we travel -- so gotta have the desk. We also like the access of two entrances to the bath. We can close the bath door to the hallway, close off the bedroom, and freely move between bedroom and bathroom as we are getting showered and dressed.

The front bath with the half bath as an office would work for us. But that also means crawling over the bed to get to the bathroom while traveling (to avoid putting out a slide.)

Dave,
I completely agree on the BH3670. Full body paint would be nice, but other than that we have never seen anything that we like BETTER. Trace

I know the Landmarks currently have the Mor Ryde pin box as an option. Will the Mor Ryde IS suspension be an option on the new 365's?

I would love to offer Mor-ryde IS on the new LM365's but I can assure you it will not be an option. The logistics for us to have a fully built coach delivered to them, IS installed, tested and properly set-up, and then brought back to Heartland for the final touches and shipping is not possible. I wish I had a better answer for everyone but this is the reality.

I would however ever be agreeable to working out a deal with Mor-ryde on the IS System for LM365 Owners exclusively if this is something our owners would find helpful.

Talk soon.

If we can't work a deal then I don't know who could. We have an excellent relationship with Mor-ryde and I will get to work on this starting tomorrow.

Thanks

I'm sure it's been considered at Heartland, but take care that these models are fitted so as to keep the price where you can maintain a wide audience. Unless of course the idea is to target only the top end buyers.

Rob - Tom will have to address the potential of adding a window above the stove top. I can tell you where the bedroom windows were in the Ashland prototype.

Three windows in the bedroom slide. There was one in each end wall of the slide. They were typical narrower windows. The third one was in the outside wall over the night stand / dresser.

The fourth window in the bedroom was a larger egress window below the TV.

Our goal is to provide a quality, full-time unit an an affordable price. We are very sensative to the rising costs and shrinking customer base when prices get too high. As we continue to redefine LM365 our focus will be on "affordable" luxury.

To to date we have brought out the biggest coaches in our line-up. As we move forward with new floor plans, smaller floor plans - the price should start to decrease a bit too.

The run away leader in our poll question is the 36'-38' RL. We are paying attention and working hard to bring a great product to market that the majority of hard working people can not only enjoy but can be proud to own.

Hope this helps.

Hi rob - thanks for asking about a window in the kitchen behind the stove. It's not a bad idea except for the fact they are typically hard to clean, regulations mandate we can only put a cheap metal blind on them and therefore the cons typically out weigh the pros. What would you think about trying to do floor plans with large stair cases headed up to the bedroom and going a large window going up the stairs?

Just trying to think of ways to satisfy your needs without having to sacrifice one of the nicest backsplashes and most durable and easy cleaning backsplashes in the industry.

The lippert center point axle looks interesting. This could be a viable alternative?

That window in the first picture of the nightstand, the two windows really should be the same size. It just looks awkward being at two different heights.

I couldn't agree more - The windows in the slide will be at the same height. In fact - they appear to be now. All they did was move the blind up in this one. Going forward all windows in the slide will be the same height.
