Well things get even more interesting. I just got a call from a very helpful and friendly lady working the rally site registration.
I printed out my confirmation which shows, ring road site 322 however she said my registration showed south area. I explained I had hard copy indicating otherwise. I refreshed my confirmation and amazingly it no longer showed 322 but south area. I would have taken south area but she could not gurantee 50 am service so, she was able to move me back into 322. WOW....... There's a snafu for you.
I'm going to have to think long and hard about future rallys.....

Signed, upset and now disappointed too.....golly.

Blake - things are very fast-paced here today. Julie has her hands full and so as to not put one more thing on her plate, I took your item and moved you. I was not able to advise her on that yet. As you had chosen to reach out to us publically, I felt it best to respond to you in similar fashion. Sorry that you did not see it in this thread.

Processes are not perfect, sites are not to everyone's liking and not all rally activities are everyone's cup-of-tea. You will have to decide if this is something you really want to take the time and money to risk.

What exactly do you want? This is our first Rally in Goshen as well, not our first rally, and the directions e-mailed awhile back left nothing out about the process and how to prepare. This forum also had a lot of information given by many of its superb members as to what to expect. It seems from reading that your issues were addressed pretty quickly. IMO putting something this large together the way the powers that be do is quite an achievement and I applaud them for it. I hope you can gain some peace with your disappointments and just come and have a good time.

All,
We had the Easiest time doing our registration, it was the Best. We are getting our rig worked on at Heartland before the pre-rally so called the fair grounds to get in on Saturday in the same spot - NW 447. Really looking forward to meeting & making new friends. See you in Goshen.....Let's Get Ready To Rally!!!!!

This is our first Heartland rally; never made it to a national, regional, or chapter rally.

My wife and I looked through the links that were sent out by Julie on February 22. We looked over the maps, prioritized locations, and talked through the pre-rally events. When the signup opened up today, for me, everything went smoothly. Based on the guidance provided in the email, I felt totally prepared for what was needed for signup.

I understand that putting together these rallys, and the associated signup chaos is a thankless job, but I'd like to say "Thanks" anyway.

I would like to join the chorus of people saying THANK YOU to Jim and Julie and I'm sure many others, for a DIFFICULT job well done.

This is our first National rally and to be honest I had a couple of questions which I sent to Julie a few days ago, she ansrwed them quickly and I was set to go. This being said, it is a bit un-nerving to be new and hearing that there are only so many sites and hoping that you get one. So, I can understand how Blake could feel over whelmed by the whole process. So, let's have empathy for his frustration and also give many Thanks to those that have worked SO hard.

Now, let's all get together and have a great time.

Oh! I will ask about that. They said June was filling up quickly, so they may be spoken for.

Erika,

The MorRyde parking lot is long enough for 2 rigs x 5 spaces. If you get in on Sunday afternoon and the 5 hookups are taken (or promised to others), you may be able to just park in front of one of the 5 and stay on battery power and fresh tank. Might not be ideal if it's hot out. But staying elsewhere and driving across town at 5:30 AM is no bargain either.

Speaking of Morryde, I'm interested in getting a new pin box. What does everyone recommend Morryde or Lippert or others. Thanks

Jim, you are correct. I did not see your reply. I appreciate how hectic you day has been, all your efforts in putting this event together and specially your quick response. Please accept my apologies for the confusion on my end and any grief or trouble I created for you. I didn't understand that I could contact you directly for issues nerveless privately so, again I apologize for that lack of understanding as well.

We genuinely are looking forward to participating in this event and as does everyone want and believe it will be a great experience.

I'll contact you privately regarding the south area.

Respectfully,
Blake

I may have missed a section if we were supposed to choose a factory tour to take. Can anyone tell me if I need to go and try to edit this?
Also, on my shirt options it looks like I asked for 2 ladies shirts, but im assuming they will know what I meant. Ill take two shirts if not, I love the ladies cut that we got last time and ill just try to buy Wayne one of the extras.
We are on the road and registration was super easy on a galaxy note 5.
Thanks for all the hard work to our event planners.

Anita, you should be able to go to the registration page and do an edit for the correct sizing and style.

Peace
Dave

This message for anyone who has already or is thinking about submitting a repair request.

Minor Rally service work

For this rally, you are allowed to submit 2 (TWO) minor service requests and Heartland will make “best efforts” to get to these.

WHAT WE CAN DO
We can do minor service work only (repair, replacement and adjustment of small items)

WHAT WE CANNOT DO
– Major service work
– Repair/replace things like awnings, steps, windows, air
conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, stoves, refers, commodes etc.
– Drop underbellies, repair / replace tanks or tank valves

COST
There will be no charge to you for your two approved minor service items

WHEN
Service work begins first thing Monday morning June 12th and continues through Friday afternoon, June 16th unless all work is completed earlier

WHERE
Service work will be performed on your rig “at your rally site”.

In order to process your service request quickly and make to process flow smoothly please adhere to the rules as stated above.

Thank you for your help.

dave

Phil,
Thanks for your response. Is there a particular model that you like? I was looking at the lippert trail aire but I'm open to hearing what everyone thinks. I'd like to get one while I'm is Goshen.
