Not just CA, many places. I have a short list of states I have no desire to visit and CA is on it.
I strongly agree with your comment on warning shots or pulling a weapon. No one will ever know I carry unless it is required to stop a threat. At that time they may see it a second before I fire.
OK ~~ makes sense. I'm looking at an Elkridge when we get back from Florida. The W/D is in the rear of the 40FLS. Only concern is pulling 42' with a SRW F350 6.7. All numbers are OK, just the length is on my mind.
Thank you for the info!
I'm looking at the same numbers. I figure loaded pin about 3000 which some room. The washer/dryer is located in the rear of the 40fls. SRW not as stable as DRW so wondering if anyone has experience as my F350 is only 7 months old.
Looking for the good, bad, and not so good on these two. Planning on purchasing one of the two next month. Any major problems to watch for? What gray tank is the W/D plumbed to?
True! Going by the published pin weight dry of 1705 which was accurate my F250 would have been fine with a 2247 payload. Loaded just barely OK. Then the add ons like BR AC, washer/dryer and more. Now the new F350 has just 1000# payload cushion. That yellow sticker can bite.
I agree 100%. Would never say anything bad about the 7.3 and never thought I'd be happier with he 6.7 but I am. Staying away from the 6.4 certainly makes sense. At this time most 6.0 have either had the fix" or are one of the good ones. I'd still stay way from a 6.0 without the 'fix' documented.
Agree, I used to run charters on Lake Ontario (wine country) and deer hunted NY as well, 1960s through early 1990s. I cannot get past the politics any longer. My CWP is recognized in 34 states, I'll patronize those and don't feel missing anything
Also,,, how will wind an passing semis effect must be considered. For that reason I prefer anything over about 32' or 9K - 10K to be a 5er for stability.
I all reality there is not much you cannot PULL with an F150 BUT you run out of PAYLAD quickly long before. There are many TTs ad 5ers that 150 or F250 can tow within payload. The trick is to buy the TV to fit the RV or the RV to fit the payload requirements. Consider future requirements is...
