ATF: North Trail - EZ Lube Axles?

Quick update: I just went to the beach for a week and towed about 400 miles round trip. No issues, no problems.

ATF: North Trail - EZ Lube Axles?

I went through 3 tubes. Some of the axles did not take as long to pump out the old stuff. I continued to pump out the old grease until it was only new red grease coming out. That was how I gauged it.

ATF: North Trail - EZ Lube Axles?

In case anyone was wondering, they are EZ-lube axles. I verified this while repacking the bearings this weekend. I referenced this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6ndN_9NQL4 It worked well and was a clean and easy job to complete. It took about an hour to do. I used Mobil-1...

ATF: North Trail - EZ Lube Axles?

I think so, but am not close enough to check. I figured it was worth a shot at asking the question.

ATF: North Trail - EZ Lube Axles?

This may have been asked before, but does anyone know if the 2009 northtrails have EZ lube axles? I have a 22FDS and would love to complete this myself, but the trailer is currently in storage and I haven't had the chance to go check it out. Thanks. I attached a pic of one of the wheels.

What about towing? We have a Chevy Tahoe - RE: North Trail 22FBS

I just traded my commander in for a Ram 1500. My camper is just under 27 feet long. The Hemi has more than enough power. If you have the factory tow package, then you should be ok depending on your comfort level towing. The 255rs is 25 feet long, so you may have trailer sway because the...

    Considering Purchasing Focus FX20

I don't have the focus fx20, but like the layout. I have owned 2 other TT's and the reason I purchased the 22 FDS was that it had a ton of storage and it had a great layout for the rainy days when we were stuck inside. When we go camping we have myself, my wife, my two boys (ages 5 & 6), and our...

What do guys use for leveling blocks?

I have a set of level upp leveling ramps (they stack on top of each other so they are compact and are good for 2 and 3 inches of lift each). I also have the yellow stacking lego blocks ( I think they are 6 by 6 inches in size) which I believe come in a pack of either four or six (I haven't used...

    Replacing Duro tires on 22FBS

I have a 2009 Northtrail 22 FDS. I just put 4 new Maxxis M8008ST's on it. I noticed a world of difference towing. They roll better and the TT seems easier to tow. I think it was in large part to the fact that the tires were balanced prior to being put on the TT. Either way, I have a reese WDH...

    "Equalizer" or "E2" WDH??

Case and point! I have owned three different TT's and have simply transferred the equipment without having to worry at all. Well said pegmikef!

    "Equalizer" or "E2" WDH??

My brother in law has a Nissan Xterra and a camper (I think it is a Passport Express Super Lite 160EXP Travel Trailer by Keystone RV) with GVWR of 3,800 lbs and he has an equalizer hitch. I don't think overkill for towing is a bad thing as long as you can afford it. I think of it as a safety...
