    F150

We pull a Prowler Lynx 285lx, which is around the same dry weight and a little longer, with a 2013 F150 EcoBoost 3.55 using an Andersen hitch. You know it's back there but it never feels unsafe. Been from Winnipeg to the Rockies and also to Toronto via the UP and up into the Keweena Peninsula...

    F150

Should handle it easily with a good weight distribution/sway control hitch.

    Towing Question

I tow a 285LX with my 2013 EcoBoost with tow package and the truck handles it OK. I think you quoted under on your dry weight though because that's the dry weight of my trailer and the Heartland site lists yours up around 7500 lbs dry. Most important is good weight distribution and sway control...

    Prowler TOO BIG! Seeking advice

I'd probably be tempted to back the trailer all the way down the driveway. Easy to keep a long trailer going straight.

Help!!! - Wife is at the coast with a broken awning......

Same as the awning on my Prowler. I'm going to check that those screws are tight when we pull it out to de-winterize.

Lady Bird Johnson RV Park - Fredericksburg Texas Easter 2018

Replaced our mattress after 1 season with an 8" memory foam mattress. Great investment!

    2007 Ford F150 5.4 Triton

You shouldn't have any issues although steep hills may be a challenge. You have a good buffer between your tow capacity and GVW. Do make sure you have a good weight distribution setup with sway control. That's a pretty big sail behind your truck. It's a few feet shorter and 1000 lbs lighter than...

    Jacking, Bearing and Brake Session

I had to do the same thing last year, but it seemed they gradually got tighter through the season and I had to back down my brake controller. Supposed to work the other way, isn't it?

    Bunk bedding

You won't find specific sheets for these bunks. We use sheets fitted for a normal mattress, and usually an unzipped sleeping bag. You can tuck the extra sheet material under the mattresses easily.

How to mount a TV in a Prowler Lynx

I haven't mounted the TV in ours after 3 years. We store it on the bed and set it up when we get to our camping spot. Of course I destroyed one TV this way too. The wall behind the entertainment unit needs reinforcing to carry the weight of a mounted TV.

F-150 with 3.5L eco boost V6 for a travel trailer TV

I tow a Prowler Lynx 285 lx (6700 dry, 9000 gvw) with a 2013 EcoBoost which is far more trailer than yours. Average anywhere from 7 to 9 average mpg depending on winds. A couple of steep mountain passes proved challenging. Your TT is lighter and more aerodynamic. With the current 3.5 l EcoBoost...

New TV for an Edge M18

I agree with that. If you can find a 15 or 16 with the 2.7L engine then great fuel economy and the ability to tow something much larger than what you have now. That said, I don't think you have issues pulling that TT with a Chevy Colorado if it's properly equipped.

Has anyone with a travel trailer tried any of the aftermarket auto-leveling packages?

Pair of screw jacks would stabilize nicely too if you can get in there.

Small gutter leak on passenger side

I have leaks on both sides, in particular over the front door. I'm thinking this method may be the easiest. The driver's side leak is over the slide room gutter so it's not as big a concern. One little piece of overall shoddy workmanship.

Is a Ford F-150 EB 3.5 Ok for Elkridge E22

You're welcome. I know many people that would do it by adding helper springs or airbags but they don't change the GVWR of the truck. If you bought a properly equipped 2018 F150 you could handle that 5th with ease. 156.8" wb Supercrew 4x4 with the heavy duty payload package is rated is rated up...
