Hi all,
Am looking at moving into a 2017 F150 4X4, 5.5 box, with 3.5 Eco boost 3:55 gears and Max trailer tow package. Pulling a 2016 26' RLSS.
Anyone see a problem?
Thanks,
Yooper
Not knowing anything on weight capabilities w/ the 150 or the trailer weight, I'd agree w/ king. Couple years back we saw a 150 yanking a 38-40' Jayco 5er into a site. We quickly walked away.
We pull a Prowler Lynx 285lx, which is around the same dry weight and a little longer, with a 2013 F150 EcoBoost 3.55 using an Andersen hitch. You know it's back there but it never feels unsafe. Been from Winnipeg to the Rockies and also to Toronto via the UP and up into the Keweena Peninsula. The road up to Copper Harbor is something else!
Yooper, Ford says you are good to trailer weight fo 10,700 lb, tongue weight of 1070 lb unless you have limited edition or Max Tow package; then trailer weight goes up another 800 and 1000 lb, respectively.
