I'll take pictures the next time we go down there and post them here.
Porthole, thanks for the local suggestion. I'll wait til the spring to order the tires since we are done with the RV for the season. It's already been winterized!
Thanks!
Irene
I'm guessing there are some benefits to going to a larger tire,so I need to check a few things. Like - if I'm changing the tires how much more would it be to buy new wheels - and is there a preference of name brand etc? But first I have to be sure that it can be done.
I'll call the company and...
Hi everyone! I haven't been on a while and I apologize. But I know you all give great advice.
We purchased our Heartland Cyclone 3010 back in May 2012... We just noticed a little bubble on the side wall so I know it's going to be time to change. Since I've NEVER had any experience with a RV...
I've read that the fuse tends to go (while I was trying to research why mine was broken). Luckily the fuse was fine (and we purchased a huge box of fuses a few months ago).
We actually got two switches now. The OEM one, and another rear jack switch. That one was what we used temporarily until...
Re: Landing gear switch broken help ASAP pls
The new switch worked!!!
Thank you for all the help! I don't think we were hitting allThree wires and that's why I wasn't working. We got a new switch and once we swapped it out, the landing gear worked. Looking back, we could have pulled the rear...
Re: Landing gear switch broken help ASAP pls
Thank you! Yes it's a 6 wire system. It has 6 plugs at least. We called a local dealer and they said they have a switch in stock. We were able to unhook and are driving there before it closes in hopes that swapping out the switch will work. We were...
Re: Landing gear switch broken help ASAP pls
We have been trying that and the gearing makes noises but its not moving. We tired. Red to blue wire. Red to yellow wire. Etc. now I'm thinking it might be the hydraulic system but the slide outs are working. Is it two different hydraulic systems?
Martin just used the switch. It just broke. It's flappy and won't do a thing. We are going to take off the cover and try to figure how to retract it. Any ideas? Thanks! Irene
cyclone 3010
Thanks! I will see about getting it re-adjusted again... call the deal I had it done in the first place (I'm not sure what type of response I will get from them, but I haven't really enjoyed my dealings with them. They are very short and sometimes even rude...).
I will see what I can do. PS how...
Last year I found that the slide was leaking after a heavy rain - almost hurricain force.
I brought it to a local RV dealer and they said they adjusted it but didn't really find a problem. We didn't really have anymore "driving rains" so we didn't notice any leaks. I have noticed from day one...
Thank you all! I'm going to google some videos of de-winterizing as well as reading up on it. I did some reading but visual instruction is so much better for me. We are going to head to Strausburg PA to the train museum for the 2 year old. Anyone in the area or suggest a campground?
Thank you!
No ice maker or washing machine. Hooking up to city water is the same as being at a campground correct? I don't have to "blow out" the lines?
We keep the RV at a storage facility right now... Until we move out of Hoboken!
Hi All!
Happy Spring!
It's time for us to get the RV ready and we are going to head out to the Train Museum in PA this weekend (we hope) and it's time to de-winterize the Cyclone. This is our first winter with the RV and being newbies, we decided to pay someone to winterize it (and it wasn't...
