Residential Fridge Recommendations

I have a 2013 Heartland Bighorn 5th Wheel Series M-3585RL. I want to replace the side-by-side Norcold fridge with a residential fridge. Looking for recommendations if anyone knows of a fridge that will fit that opening or if anyone has done this and can tell me what modifications I might be looking at.

We're actually planning to go the other way, replace our residential side-by-side Fridgidaire with something a lot lighter. This resdiential unit cannot be used unless we are on shore power due to the draw effectivley killing our batteries.

I know this may not help you but it may be a consideration if you boondock at all.

contact JC Refrigeration in Indianna and go with the new 12 volt fridge system.
All new units are going this system. No more propane/ electric or residential fridges are being installed in new units. Too many issues with both. The residential fridges are not holding up due to the excessive shaking of RVs on the road.

JC also has conversion kits to upgrade your NDR 2012 (?) Dometic cooling unit to a low current draw, RELIABLE, 12 volt or 120 volt freon compressor cooling unit. They also have You Tube videos on ow to do each model's conversion.

They will also convert your fridge for you if you bring your rig to their plant in Shipswanna, Indiana (near the Heartland Elkhart plant).
