You didn't mention what type of dish you're using. If its an older one that only gets 101, 110 & 119, your locals might be on one of the other birds. Only when you can receive all 5 birds can you be sure to get all the locals, even when you switch locales.

We had the same problem until we went to the Ohio HOC Rally in Amish Country. Got this table/magazine rack. Here it is between the recliners: (Dog not included). We also went with a "C" table for the sofa since we had the same problem of not being able to put drinks anywhere.

Great rally. Spectacular job by Dave and Nancy. Wrote about it and have some pictures in our travel blog here. Appreciate all of the offers of help once my wife left town. Very thankful to have all of our Heartland friends.
