There is a campground not too far off of I-20 in Columbia called the Barnyard RV Park (http://www.barnyardrvpark.com/content/HOME.aspx). Nothing fancy but ok for an overnight spot. Don't plan on going during a home game of South Carolina cuz it's booked.
